Dimensioning working pieces

Looking for a way to dimension working pieces with a measurement method without the full version of AutoCAD. AFAIK this is not possible with AutoCAD LT. Or is it? Any free software that does this? Thank you!

What do you mean by dimension working pieces?

 

LT does use dimensions.

 

Do you mean if you change the object you want the dimension to automatically change? If you do you need to make your dimension ASSOCIATIVE

 

Click on TOOLS

OPTIONS...

Choose the USER PREFERENCES TAB

Now make sure MAKE NEW DIMENSIONS ASSOCIATIVE is ticked
