Detecting breaks in design

I create designs for CNC machine. I used AutoSketch for years. I need to be able to quickly detect if there are any gaps or breaks in the path defined by the lines and arcs drawn. According to the controller I am working with, the lines must by connected. In AutoSketch I used a command called TRIM JOIN to do this quite we'll.

I have a drafting degree and stopped working with autocad in version 12. I need to know how to duplicate this autosketch function in autocad LT.

Thank you in advance to any help!!

PEDIT command has a JOIN option: explained in HELP.
It will ask you for a 'fuzz factor' for the gap measurement though.

Awesome. That works. Minor tweak in how it works, but it saves my from having to walk the design to the machine to test. Thx!
