Creating Tiff files from AutoCad Lt 2000

Is there any way of running a batch process to convert a number of AutoCad
drawings into Tiff format, at once? Also, if a batch process is not
available, can we save our plot settings for conversion to Tiff so that they
can be recalled at a later stage? We would like to be able to transfer the
same plot settings to other PCs so that we are all producing the same
formatted files. Are the plot settings transferable?

Set up a TIFF plotter using the PLOTTERMANAGER with the Raster file Plotter
option, and set the final PC3 settings to anything you want. you can then
share the PC3 file with other LT users, and you can set this 'plotter' as
the default in all your files if you want.

As for batch processing, you will need to buy a batch file processor for LT:
search AutoCAD shareware sites like www.cadalog.com and www.caddepot.com for
some try before you buy software.

Try Bitmap extractor from simtelnet -
ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/simtelnet/win95/cad/bmpx100.zip
It makes a preview in a variety of formats.

I am looking for the same solution to convert
dwg into bmp then good bmp conversion I can convert into
tiff. Lot of attempts to convert directly form AutoCadLT2ki
but lines are thik, etc both in bmp & tiff including
pc3-plotmanager setup.

there is plenty way of creating tiff file by using batch converting application from the web. you can save other formats to tiff as well.
