Converting to PDF in LT for MAc 2012

Hello,

I am a long time user of Autocad/Architectural Desktop and we have recently converted to using Autocad LT for Mac 2012.  When we convert full size drawings to PDF they save has HUGE files, and we cannot figure out how to change the settings to save as a smaller file size.  We cannot seem to find where the plotter configuration settings might be.  Can anyone help with this?

AutoCAD LT for Mac uses the built-in Apple PDF drivers (rather than the ones we wrote ourselves for Windows), which is part of what contributes to the difference in file size. Raster images or transparency can also increase a PDF's size.
