Circular logarithmic scale... is it possible in 2009 LT.

Looking at buying Autocad LT 2009, but one of the things I need is to layout some circular logarithmic scales. Basically a circular slide rule for those that remember... for those that don't I have attached a PDF of a similar item. Will Autocad LT 2009 facilitate this design? I hadn't dabbled in Autocad since it was only available in DOS, so I'm a bit behind the times.

Thanks

Do you need to just draw this or is it for manufacturing?

Both.....? I need to draw it so it can be produced/printed. It won't be engraved or anything (CAM) if that's what you are asking. Generally the finished item will be printed, just as if I was making a cardboard circular slide rule.

Yes you could reproduce this in LT. Arrays and rotation of txt should work fine. That font is available also.

Amazon has the program for $700+ after rebate. Plan on doing a bunch? And learning the software?

Whilst you can "draw" it, you would need to know the angles of each mark
by manual calculation - AutoCAD can't do this for you.

LINE command, Polar ARRAY, TEXT command, same Polar ARRAY, CIRCLEs at
various Radii, TRIM command, DDEDIT for the text. Granted I just made it
sound simple, but it's not much more difficult.
