Autocad LT free trial Install gets stuck on installing akamai

I have Windows XP and I was trying to install the windows 32 bit version of the autocad freetrial and it gets stuck during install. It reads installing or upgrading akamiai and thats it.

It appears you are getting stuck in the website's download manager.
On that same webpage, hunt for and use the direct download option instead.

It now says error Connection has expired. Please reconnect to the site. I have internet connection but I can't seem to download it.

Clear your web browser cache and try the trial download all over again.
If you don't initiate the download the page does time out.

I cleared the browser cache
so it downloaded the download manager but its doing the same thing but repairing

Installing or upgrading Akamai NetSession
It just stays there

no luck its stuck there as well

Hi Chase,

 

Please take a look at the following Install Now troubleshooting suggestions and let us know if you're able to resolve the issue.

 

The alternative in this case would be to download the software via an alternative method, specifically Browser Download. If you're downloading from an Autodesk portal where this is not an available option (as a trial), you can find most current + previous version download links via Matt, our Virtual Assistant.
