Can Autocad LT import ECW or GeoTIFF Files?  So that they are spatially coorect?

No: explore what is offered instead through the more limited GEOGRAPHICLOCATION command described in HELP.

If you actually need the full ability you stated you will need to upgrade to AutoCAD MAP or CIVIL.

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

With an ACAD MAP (or ACAD CIVIL) I have already (for customers with only ACAD LT) loaded and inserted at the correct position ECW images

then I save the drawing as DXF and then I change inside the DXF the extension .ECW to .JPG and resave the DXF ...

Then with an utility, I convert the ECW Images to JPG with the same name ...

Finally I reloaded the DXF, resave it as DWG and it is OK for an ACAD LT ...

Thanks

We have the ECW and wish to place in AutoCad and then deliver to a client, so we would need AcadMap or Civil to start with. I'm assuming this from your method?

Hello

YES you need an ACAD MAP or ACAD CIVIL to do the job !

( Inserting at the right position ECW files)

But maybe the 30 days Trial Period could be enough for you !?
