AutoCadLT 2009 failure to launch

I am getting an acadlt.exe Application Error when I try to start autocad lt 2009

The message is "The application failed to initialize. (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application."

For several days I was getting this when I logged on to my desktop without even attempting to start Autocad. I didn't really even take note, I just clicked on the OK so my desktop would open.

I finally took it out of the msconfig startup directory to avoid the delayed login.

Now I can't get autocad to start. Anyone seen this before? Any ideas on avoiding a re-install? 😞

You will need to try a Windows System Restore back to a day before you
messed with anything and before the first error ever showed up.

If that does not work, you may have to fully uninstall and reinstall.

Never ignore a system or startup problem in Windows. EVER.
