AutoCAD LT and Word 95

When placing a .dwg into a Word 95 document I get a gray background in the
drawing...Is there any way around this.?

Set up a Raster File Plotter using the PLOTTERMANAGER command,
set the output file type, resolution and background color to
anything you want, and PLOT AutoCAD to any file format you want.

HELP in AutoCAD LT2000/2000i has a whole chapter that only deals
with the subject.
