AutoCAD LT 2015

Recently purchased AutoCAD LT 2015 upon completion of 30 day trial of standard AutoCAD 2015.  Uninstalled trial version, installed, registered, and set as default AutoCAD LT 2015.  Cannot open dwg. files I receive - I get error message "Cannot find C:/programfiles/Autodesk/AutoCad2015.acad.exe".  I receive & only open AutoCAD files for review and to add notes, etc - I am technology challenged and this is extremely frustrating  - & I have deadlines to meet!  Need assistance please!  Thank you. rb

Try opening AutoCAD LT first, then opening your drawing files.

I suspect that the DWG file extension is still looking for AutoCAD (not AutoCAD LT.) By opening AutoCAD LT first, you should force a reset of the file extension association.

If that doesn't work, right-click on a DWG file in Windows Explorer and see if you can set the default program to AutoCAD LT under "Open With..."
