AutoCAD LT 2015 - trouble printing .dwg file

Just upgraded and when trying to print (plot) a .dwg file instead it prints to the plotter an 'Error Condition!' with an Invalid File result to a path that does not exist.  Help-

Printing to...?
System printer?
PC3 File?
Network print share?
Physically attached printer? USB? LPT1?

Can you print to PDF and DWF files OK?

Printing to Kip 3100

Installed as a system printer, but the driver is installed locally

Yes, using a pc3 file

Yes, Kip is on the network

No physical attachments

Exported a .dwg to .pdf and printed to another network printer OK..

Did something else change with your 2015 upgrade? like Windows OS?
Or was your previous LT version also on the same PC and it had no issues?

Th operating system is still the same Windows 7 Pro 64-bit..

It did have a previous version, AutoCAD LT 2011 (which is still there).

The previous version worked fine for the previous user.  I am told by the new user of that machine, that he has never been able to print any drawings to the KIP.  When the user was set up on that workstation, 2011 was installed and tested fine.  Not sure what could have happened.

Does anybody have any ideas?  Is there someplace that a default path is saved?

Sounds like a system problem to me.

Regardless: KIP provides AutoCAD drivers for it's devices and usually newer drivers are required with newer versions of AutoCAD. Contact your KIP support folks for help there.

The same version of AutoCAD works fine on other machines that are configured the same with the same KIP driver.

It will print to the KIP, however, it prints an 'Error Condition' and displays a path to the file that does not exist (exact for the filename trying to print).

What's unique about the one PC then? I manage an office full of PCs and various AutoCAD versions too and we don't have one that's different like that. Do you folks image the PCs identically? or is each one brought online as a unique setup?

If you create and log in as a new user in Windows, does the problem go away?
if you log in as another user on the network from another PC does the problem go away?
KIP uses PC3 files from KIP usually, is everyone using and pointing to the same PC3 file? Are you sure of the location and path to that PC3 file?

Good luck, you have a lot to do.
