AutoCAD LT 2014 won't install.

Hi,

I bought today a license for Autocad LT 2014 but unfortunately it won' t install. Please see my error log which is attached.

system specs:

MS 7 64 bits

IntelXeon e5-2620 @ 2 ghz, 16 GB ram, nvidia quadro 4000

Does anyone know how to fix this direct runtime problem?

Regards,

Dirk

Uninstall all instances of .Net Framework
Do the same for Visual C++
Restart Windows.
Reattempt the installation. Then run Windows Update and force it to do a manual search for updates so that it can reinstall those we removed at the beginning.
If that failed, search around these forums where you are posting for ERROR RESULT=1618 and ERROR RESULT=1619

Hi,

Thanks for your input.

I removed Visual C++ and all .NET framework, cleaned %temp% , rebooted and did the installation again.

Unfortunately the installation failed 😞

For your information I've attached my errorreport.

You' ve asked me to look for ERROR RESULT=1618 and ERROR RESULT=1619 in this forum., I cannot see the wood for the trees 😞 , it is me too technical...

Thanks for you input.

Dirk

Are you trying to install LT from a disk, or online?

Type 1618 into the search function in this blog:

http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/

Also since this is a new purchase have Autodesk do a little work you:

http://usa.autodesk.com/support-offerings/up-and-ready/

And we are end users like yourself so installation help can be a little frustrating on this end.

You may aso want to try:
