AutoCAD LT 2012 and Windows 7 64 bit

I am having trouble getting AutoCAD LT 2012 to run on a Windows 7 64 bit machine (it's an HP Compaq 6000 Pro).  This is a new installation.  It will open up correctly under my user profile, which is an admin, however, it will not open up correctly under the user's profile.  Everytime I try to open it under the user's profile, the error message "Customization file load failed: File not found: acadlt".  

Here is what I have tried after searching the web:

I have made the user a local admin and then a domain admin (separately and with a reboot after each change) - this did not change the problem.

I have deleted the profile created in the registry - this did not change the problem

I have already done a reload of AutoCAD 2012, but not a full uninstall of all the parts and then reinstall like that, but that is my next step.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
