AutoCAD LT 2010 fatal error crash when creating PDF from DWG

When creating a PDF from a DWG AutoCAD LT 2010 (runnning on windows 7) I get the following error.

unhandled access violation reading 0x6a162be0 exception at 6a162be0h

This only happens the second time I create a PDF - the first time it is very quick and there are no errors

I have tried a repair and a reinstall but am still having the same issue.

Many thanks for any help!

Do you have plotting set to background by chance?

Or do you have it set to open the PDF after creation?

The PDF is set to open on creation - in Acrobat Pro. Should I try turning it off? if so can you let me know how? Not sure about the background plotting - where do check that - sorry to be such a novice. Many thanks.

Are you using the built-in PDF driver in LT2010 to create the PDF? Or Acrobat Pro?

Hi there - sorry not to respond sooner. the printer used to create the PDFsis called DWG to PDF.pc3. Does that shed any light?

You can edit that PC3 file either directly on the PLOT pop-up, or through PLOTTERMANAGER command, and uncheck the "open after" box.
