AutoCAD LT 2010 Completely Deleting Files Without Warning

Starting last October, I've been having a problem with my AutoCAD LT 2010 completely deleting files after I have saved them and closed them. There is no file in the recovery manager, no back up file, nothing. It has happened three times without warning and it always happens to files I've been working on for awhile and have opened and closed multiple times. What is the problem? Is there any way to recover these files and how do I keep it from happening again? Please help.

Saved where?

Same spot all three times?

the BAK file is deleted too? What about the SV$ Autosave file?

OS on your PC? Or is it a laptop?

OS at the file location?

Method of connection?

What else goes on with your PC or the connection to the file location when this happens? What other common factors exist?

Any application not able to save files usually gives you notice of such a problem, LT included: are you not getting any of these?
