Apple server and Autocad

Ok, I know there are a number of discussions about running Autocad on a Mac.  We aren't replacing our PC's with Apples.  We need to replace our windows server.  It died this morning.  The owner wants to get a Mac server.  (I know nothing about servers.)  As the closest thing to a Autocad expert in the building, he asked me if this will be ok (and I don't think I'm an expert).  So the question is, "With Autocad (LT 2009) installed on our local machines, will there it be compatible with the Mac server?"
