Activating AutoCAD LT 2007

I'm having some trouble activating our new AutoCAD LT 2007 upgrades. We
have a few places in my company where a user has both a PC and a laptop. I
have been told that we can use the same software and license for both the PC
and laptop since the user would using either the PC or the laptop but not
both at the same time.

I have registered the software on the laptop but now it's time to enter in
the activation code for the PC and the activation number won't work. When I
try to do this, there is an extra box for me to enter code into and since I
don't have what it wants; I can't activate the software.

This is an upgrade from AutoCAD LT 2005 to AutoCAD LT 2007. Both PC and
laptop have the same OS - Windows XP Pro. What do I do next? Any ideas?

resolve.
