Thanks Dean, unfortunately when attempting to update as 1.1x64 error message states "this service pack could not be installed because it is not designed for the version of AutoCad LT 2011 - English that is installed on your computer."

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium  - 64bit on a Toshiba Satellite Pro

Hope you can help

Look at Help, About and up at the top left make sure the SP1 version you downloaded is the same as what you have installed.

Hi Charles, thanks for the reply, appreciate your help. I'm running English version 3 would there be a conflict with that which is why I cant run the package correctly

I was really interested in if you were running a 32 bit version of LT but had dowloaded the 64 bit SP.

Mine is a 32 bit SP1 updated version of LT. Yours should look something like this:

Message 8 of 16

hi Charles, apologies for the confusion...

the screen shot you took is very similar but says;- Product Version E.208.0.0 AutoCad LT 2011 - English Version 3

I've downloaded 64 bit update as thats the version of Autocad also installed, as far as I can see I'm doing things correctly but still cant run the update

Message 9 of 16

Have you tried the 32 bit update?

I'm not savvy enough to know if Version 3 means that both the service packs are already installed.

Message 10 of 16

I have, same results

Think I'll try de & re-installing...start from scratch

Version three means you have SP2 installed already, so your problem is most likely similar to the other links I posted (and may be outside of LT2011 to fix).

Ver 1 = no SP; ver 2 = sp 1; ver 3 = sp2

Mine also states Product Version E.208.0.0 AutoCad LT 2011 - English Version 3

So for my information the Product info there will not tell you if it is a 64 bit version?

LT2012 64bit here and it looks identical to yours.

Guys, have de & re-installed, same issues after loading service packs on again, looks like youre correct Dean, maybe an external issue...? I really dont know...

I'm struggling now, AutoCad is pretty much useless at the moment, does anyone know or is aware of contact details for a tec at AutoDesk, if there is such a thing...paid a lot of money for the product with what seems little support, would have thought the discussion forum would be monitored

Really appreciate your help Charles & Dean
