[ACLT2006] How to change decimal places in table

Hello all

I'm pasting a table from Excel 2007 into my AutoCAD LT 2006 using Paste Special. Everything works fine, but I'd like to know how to change number of decimal places after dot. I don't need so precise numbers (4 places after dot) - I need only two or none (depends from table) numbers after dot. Is there any way to change it?

Thanks for any advices.

Best regards
Metiu

Select cells, right-click, format, precision.

Works just fine, but I found precision option in Format menu on the upper bar, not under right-click menu. Thanks a lot Kate M.

Unless you mean Format-->Units-->Precision.

Guess that works too, but sometimes you need different precisions in tables
and working units.

Exactly under Format--->Units--->Precision. I don't have format option under right click.

It's there...you have to select a subset of cells first, though, not the
whole table.

Can you attach some printscreen where this option is? I've got polish version of ACLT'06 and I've tried to select single cell, subset of cells and still I've got the same options (I try to translate them, but the option can have different name in your AC):
- cut
- copy
- paste
- last entries
- position of text (upper left, upper center, upper right etc.)
- cell border
- match cell
- insert block
- insert expression/formula
- text edit
- insert column
- delete column
- adjust columns (*)
- insert rows
- delete rows
- adjust rows (*)
- delete all changes in properties
- delete contents
- merge cells
- split cells
- properties

(*) when subset is selected

Best regards
Mateusz

ps. thanks for patience I've appreciate it

Sorry, I've just been informed that tables were greatly improved in 2007. I
didn't realize 2006 lacked so many of their features. 😕

Select a cell, right-click and select Data Format.

In the window select Decimal Number as Data type and Decimal as format.

In the precision box select the desired precision.
