"No Selection" is displayed in the Properties window

When I select an object, "No Selection" is displayed in the Properties
window. The Properties window remains inactive; I am unable to modify object
settings through the Properties window.

I have followed article ID: TS45252 Remove all Autodesk® software
products from a system to ensure a clean installation, the problem still
exist after that.

I have uninstalled all Autodesk program with the Add/Remove Programs applet
in the Control Panel, and then reinstalled it to a new location on the disk
to avoid the registry problem from affecting the new installation, but same
problem occure.

Is it a DLL problem?

What to do next to make it works again??

Carl

1. Stay away from the "RegClean" utility.
2. Check if you have many and/or long path's in the "Support Search Path"
settings in the Options dialog.

btw, installing in another directory doesn't help avoiding registry
problems.
The installation always ends up at the same place in the registry.
