help on view rotation

hi,

I am working on an old drawing with 2007 LT. When I draw a horizontal line in modelspace, It shows as a vertical line in a viewport of the layout.

In modelspace, when I type UCS, z, it shows angle about z is 90 degree. I can chang it to 0 here. But still the the line in the view is not rotate back.

How is this set up? How could I rotate back in the view?

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Cean

Your viewport is rotated (you can do that, it's deliberate): simple fix is to delete the existing viewport and create a new one, it's not that hard, using MVIEW command.

The other fix is to be inside the viewport and use UCS and PLAN commands and set them to what they are in modelspace (ideally WORLD).

what u mean by "inside the viewport"? Double click into the view? that is .MSPACE

Tried but still can't figure it out.

Thanks for help.

Double Click inside the Viewport so it is active.

Command Line: UCS

Hit the Down arrow on your keyboard; W

<Enter>

That should do it.
