Hi all, the people in our office are using AutoCAD 2012 LT. For some reason when creating a new layer in layer properties manager, renaming it and changing the color, all in one go, then closing the manager, if you then look at the newly created layer the color is still the same as the one you created a new one from. You then have to go back and change the color again for it to take effect.
Any reason for this?

I think it has something to do with Windows 7. I install Acadlt 2005 on a new computer and the layer colors won't change. Changing the layer name doesn't help, nor does saving and reopening the drawing.
I'm on Windows & - 64-bit - on 2012 and I'm suffering this problem too. Minor issue but annoying. When a fix is available, please let me know.
