block in too much distance from crosshair

Hello all!

I'm having a problem using AutoCAD LT 2002. Please read:

When I copy or drag blocks fram designcenter to the drawing the block com up in too much distance from the crosshair (I'cant see the block on the screen)and I need to search to find the block. How can I get the block near the crosshair ?

I would really appreciate some help. Thanks a lot 😉

With best regards,
Jón K. Gunanrsson

You need to change the insertion point for the
block.  If you are inserting a drawing file, you can change the drawing's
basepoint.  Open the drawing(s), type BASE, then select a new point to
represent the insertion point when the drawing is inserted as a block.  Now
save the drawing(s).  The same applies to Xrefs.
