Viewing Mtext

I'm having trouble viewing mtext (font style - RomanS). This is after our
IT person installed all the service packs for Windows XP and Office XP.

I'm running a Dell precision 340 - 1800 Mhz - with Windows XP and Office XP.

See attached jpg with how the font RomanS looks....

I usually run with a black background. I is even harder to see the font.

Please help...RomanS is our office standard.

Display Settings/Appearance/Effects and turn off...Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts.
