Unable to export 2012 LT license

Hi

I have AutoCAD LT 2012 installed on a computer. I tried to export the license to another computer but got the message that the serial number is not correct. I have access to Internet on this computer.

Double check the serial number in the LT you exported the license from (put it back, start LT then start ABOUT command).

thank you for your reply. Actually I am trying to export an existing license from a source computer and import into another computer. When trying to export the license from the source computer I got a message error that the serial number was not correct. AutoCAD LT2012 is already installed and activated on this source computer so why would I get an error saying the SN is incorrect?

Oh, the error appears at the source? Very unusual, I've never come across that one.
