Autodesk recommended uninstall and reinstall procedures:

I just bought a new computer HP Z400 with a new LT2011 CAD program.

After the installation, I personnalized the tools layout, modified the pgp file

and started to work on the CAD program. Everything worked great for 2 days.

When I openned my program the 3rd day, I tried to open a file and the program

just freezed. Same thing if I try to save or create a new drawing. I can open a

drawing if I go on Window Explorer and open the drawing from there, but I cannot

save it or open anything else.

Restart Win7 yet?

Win7 has a restore feature, take the PC back to the day it all worked and see if that fixes it. The OS will also let you know what changed on your PC.

Thanks, I tried the RESTORE and it didn't work.

I think I have a problem with the customization menu.

When I go under tools, customize, import customization,

then on the right side on the Main Customization, open,

I select the acadlt.cui, open and go back to the drawing,

the open and save works.

If I close the program and re-open it, I am back to my

customized menu, but again the open and save command

don't work.

Is there a way to solve that problem?

Did you remember to manually save to your workspace after altering the menu file as you noted? It appears not and may be the reason on restart your old menu comes back. WSSAVE command.

CUIUNLOAD cmmand to remove any other menus youo may be using, if that is your intent as well.
