There is not a LT fix for this. This is normal on a computer with lower specs. What are the specs for your box? Is it just the baseline (i.e. 2gb ram etc...)? If so then this is to be expected; better performance comes with better hardware.
May I ask why it is imperative for you to see all the objects you're moving? If you pause while in the middle of the move command, you should see things starting to come back.
