No Save as 2000.dwg in my Lt2007

Ok i have this problem where my AutoCAD LT 2007 dissen't have the option to save as the 2000.dwg it has 2004.dwg and R14.dwg

it does have though the 2000.dfx but I really need to be able to save as a 2000.dwg file for my teacher

Download DWG Trueview with Trueconvert. It will change the file structure.

Ok i have downloaded and installed that but still i do not have the option in my AutoCAD 2007 to save as 2000.dwg still.

any other possible fixes?

It works outside AutoCAD.

Umm not on mine since i have the educational verson. it says it cant open it

Post it here and perhaps someone will convert it to 2000 for you - if you say please.

Yes that is very generous of somebody to do but since i have to turn them in daily i would hate to bother people about it. i guess i will just save in DXF files away thanks unless somebody has something else to try?

It's a stand alone application, the viewer that Brad linked to:
http://www.autodesk.com/dwgtrueview

It's also the converter, works as a stand-alone package, has nothing to do
with EDU software installation. Try again.
