Leader Text Rotates After Editing - 2010LT

I have a user using 2010LT who is having a problem with the text associated with a leader rotating after editing.  It has a rotation of 270 degrees in properties and he can fix it by changing that to 0 degrees but what would cause the text to rotate?  I checked his units setting and they are set to East = 0 degrees.  Any thoughts?

It is likely he has a UCS set up rotated by 270 degrees.

Type UCS at the command line and set it back to World.

You may also need to review the Plan command.

Make sure he has a safe copy of the drawing as this change may result in unexpected rotation of any drawing he has done with the UCS (user coordinate system).
