LT2013 Update troubles

For now I've abansoned the LT2014 as its no longer usable on my machine. Nothing changed, no new software, no software or O/S updates, LT 14 just sits with icons flashing.

So I've gone back to LT13 which gives me a message: Product Update Available. AutoCAD LT (R) 2013 64 bit Service Pack 2. Install now. When I click "install now" nothing happens. 

What have I missed? I'm lost.

Do you really need the update? Some users are reporting issues.
If you think you need it you must get it the manual way: hop on the website's LT page and download it. Only if you really think you need it.
