Keeps opening the old version

I have AutoCAD LT 2002 on my pc and used it fine. I was advised to buy full version of LT2007 coz legacy upgrades no longer exist. My problem now is that any files I want to open still try to open in the old version! Cant find the old version to delete in 'Add/Remove Progs'. Any clues?

Right click on your drawing.
Move down to open with
Next click on 'Choose program'
Scroll down the list until you find your full Autocad icon
Click on that and don't forget to check the box marked 'Always use this program to open this type of file'

Put the LT2002 CD back in the drive, uninstall it that way.
Then reinstall LT2007.
