Is it possible...

...to get a 2-1/2 year old AutoCAD 2011 license switched from a PC over to a Mac, or will I have to buy it again?

If you want to run AutoCAD 2011 on a Mac, you can do so through Parallels or Bootcamp. If you want "AutoCAD for Mac" (any version) you'll have to upgrade your old license to a serial number that works with Windows & Mac, or just buy it again.
