Installing Update 2 to AutoCad LT 2010 yields Error 1618-What does it mean?

I attempted to update AutoCad LT 2010 using the Communication center's update function and got the error message:
A problem prevented the service pack from being installed- contact your system administrator. Error Code:1618.
I am running a single copy of ACLT on my WinXP desktop. After the error code popped up, the communicationcenter update channel says my product is up to date! Is it? Or was there a problem? How do I know? If there is a problem, how do I determine what it is and how do I remedy it?

Grab it direct and find out, you can't install it if you already have it:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=15073321&linkID=9240818

code 1618 is a system error, outside of AutoCAD, something to do with your
network or access etc.

I went to the recommended link to download AutoCad LT 2010 Update 2.
There was a list of selections depending on the version of proddata.dll.
My file version is 18.0.309.20. This does not match any of the selections.
Is this the version for Update 2 and can I assume that it installed despite the system error I received?

Most likely.
