Install problems on imac

I have AutoCAD LT 2008. I recently purchased an imac and installed Parallels 5.0 in order to run windows 7. When I try to install my cad program I get a fatal error window saying installation ended prematurely due to error" Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it so that I can run AutoCAD on my mac??? HELP PLEASE

Dual boot into Win7 then do what you need to get LT2008 to run in Windows:
Bootcamp is still available for MacOS I believe:

or
Upgrade to LT2011, install in native in Win7 through Parallels through
MacOS:
