spanish Online Help SAYS you can " Enlazar y desenlazar " ( attach and
dettach ) image files, it must be a typo... bit anoying typo though.

Yes, I am basically a Vizer :o)
If we were to be in the VIZ NGs I'd go to vizions and attach some screen
grabs :o)
but also a stubborn workarounder (if such a thing exists), found one
(workaround), minimal initial help from an full featured AutoCAD needed:
If you happen to have a file that already has a raster file attached (any
raster fiel, a single pixel will do).
Inserting that file in AutoCAD LT 2002 will bring the image into LT, since
the manager is fully operational, then you can change the path, name,...
etc.
