Images on drawings

We have been asked to insert a company logo ( black & white)onto our standard templates.

What is the best method/image type to use as we seem to be getting poor results from the image?

we plit to both HP Designjet 600 (mono) & HP Laserjets as standard.

Can anybody help

It depends what format the file is in: INSERTOBJ brings in the file as an
OLE object. Right click on the image and select OLE Quality, then tell
AutoCAD what kind of image file it is. Under OPTIONS command, PLOTTING tab,
explore letting the OLE application print the image, and see if print-out
quality improves.

Scaling the image file up distorts and destroys quality, and lossy type
files like JPEG add to the quality downslide.

If you do this often, have you considered purchasing a Raster to Vector
application, and turning the logo into AutoCAD entities?

LT is a vector program even though it pretends that it can handle bmp's. Best results are by drawing the image in dwg format.Thereby removing any and all possible printing problems!
