AutoCAD 2014 LT is the software I am working on.
Dell M4500, 4gigs ram, and a 2.67GHz i5 processor are my hardware.
I know it's a long shot, as this problem is rather vague, but figured I'd post a question in case someone else has already had this problem. So, on to the problem...
Whenever I attempt to do anything concerning a hyperlink, creating or editing, it causes AutoCAD to go into thinking mode, then it comes back as not responding, and will sit there for hours. If a document already has a hyperlink in it, I can click on it, and access the hyperlink without problems, but that is it. Kind of at a loss here on what to do. Any advice?

Many thanks friend, I had found the second link discussion during my searches, but the first (which contained the necessary information to find a workaround) had somehow eluded me. Again, thanks.
