How to explode AEC attributes?

We have been sent some drawings, which have come with what looks like AEC attributes on it.
But I need to explode the wall’s doors window’s etc but
1; it wont let me explode them and
2; it has a name on the attribute eg AecDbWall (AecArchBase) which I can’t get rid of.

I am using Acad. Lt 2002, but I also have R14 so I you have any Lisp routines that might help that would be great too. Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Jim Murphy

The file sender needs to explode them for you. There is an AEC Explode ARX
file, but it does not work with R14.

A better option for you might be to download the appropriate Object Enabler
so that you can use the backgrounds you get, and then just add your own
entities to the drawing.
Or, get into an understanding with your files creator to keep things dumbed
down for LT's use.
