Font from Autocad 2008 not available in 2011

I have just upgraded from Autocad 2008 on Windows XP to 2011 on Windows 7.  In 2008 I used News Gothic font which as far as I recall was a standard font.  This is not available in 2011 and the substitute font is slightly bigger and so it messes up all the text boxes.  I have transferred the font across in Windows and so it is available on my computer for Word but I cannot get it to work for Autocad.

Thre is no NEWS GOTHIS (or NEW GOTHIC) installed with LT2008 here (or LT2011), and not in Windows.

If this is a TTF font, you must "install" it in Windows Fonts folder (while in that folder in Windows Explorer, go to File pulldown>Install Fonts option), if it is an SHX font in must be located in the AutoCAd Fonts folder.

You may have to restart LT.
