File types that can be imported into LT2004

I would like to import a Tiff file into ACADLT in order to convert it to a vector image. I would simply create a spline over the raster image and then delete the raster image. In an older version of LT that I have the only import possibilities are DXF and WMF files. Is it possible to do what I want to do in LT2004? Thanks.

On the contrary, you can use the Image Manager in older versions
of LT to import TIF files. This is not possible in LT 2004 without
a 3rd party product. Other than that, your only option is to paste
the image into LT as an OLE object.

HELP in LT explains the program import abilities: also look into INSERTOBJ
command. Also note that LT is not AutoCAD MAP or AutoCAD RasterDesign, and
there is no way to make it even close without buying additional software:

Look into buying a Raster to Vector program that does this conversion:
plenty out there from US$99 to US$9999: do a google.com search, and always
try before you buy, find the one that works best for your needs.
