Exporting settings/support paths

Our company has a very large number of custom menus, paths, templates and
other settings. Is there a way to export the configuration from 1
workstation to another? It looks like 2000 can do this via profiles. Is
this possible in Autocad 98 LT. I was thinking possibly exporting a
specific registry file or .ini/cfg file?

I'm wondering if this is possible in 2015 LT...

There's "Migrate Custom Settings" (standalone tool installed with LT), but I'm not sure if that works to transfer settings between different users.

You can also export the keys from the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD LT\, then browse for the Profiles section under your version number). This method definitely involves some manual editing if you want to give the same settings to multiple people, and of course comes with the usual caveat about editing the registry at your own risk...

Thanks Kate.

The first install I did had that key, so I exported it... but all the subsequent ones didn't for some reason. So I didn't take the risk of importing it. There were only 6 paths to set for 4 installs, I took the safer longer route, instead of risking having to reinstall to fix problems. I was time limited.

Good info for the future though, thanks again!
