What I have found to be the most successful for the creation of jepgs for

Use a pdf creator program such as adobe acrobat (comes with a pdf printer),
win2pdf, ect... with the dpi set at 600 dpi.
Once I have a PDF file I then export it out using adobe acrobat (not reader
but full version) and I get the results similar to the above...
