Dwg file to web

Ok I understand that Jpg & PNG files are meant to be small size
but how can I export a simple drawing file to my website and still get some resolution?
The files are hardly viewable that I sent with the plotter jpg or png maximum pixel setting.
Thanks

Have you tried JPGOUT?
How about a TIFOUT and then convert to a jpg at a save percentage of your choosing.

You zoom in to the max possible, then you play around with DPI settings to
get the resolution you seek. beware of huge files being created...

What I have found to be the most successful for the creation of jepgs for
the is...

Use a pdf creator program such as adobe acrobat (comes with a pdf printer),
win2pdf, ect... with the dpi set at 600 dpi.

Once I have a PDF file I then export it out using adobe acrobat (not reader
but full version) and I get the results similar to the above...

Thanks Dean
Set up raster PNG plotter as you suggested
Seems like text is still impossible to read, will increasing text line weights help?

Yes, and possibly height too: Raster uses dots, not lines, to draw, it's a
'lossy' format in general when it comes to fine details.

Thanks Dean,
I keep thinking I am not using the right format for bringing up this file to the web.
Should I be looking at this process differently?
Shouldn't there be a simple way to bring this digital drawing file to the web with clear resolution.
Thanks Steve

Hi Dean,
I think I got it!!!
Seems that I was so concerned about the file being too big that I wasn't getting it big enough.
By increasing the file size with Paint Shop ( 400KB) it now seems to have good enough resolution on web page and doesn't look to be to slow.
Thanks for your help
Be Well

DWF is the right CAD format for web. You can display your DWF files also via Freewheel.

Thanks for the info on pdfcreator.  Using autocad to update the company logo, then after spending a couple of hours, realized i could not get a decent jpg to use in the word template for letterhead.  (don't have any kind of other graphics programs here).  Using the settings in LT 2010 i could not get a nice jpg plot, so downloaded pdfcreator at your suggestion and managed to get a pretty good quality tiff.
