Hello,
I have a question about plotting into Canon plotter (Canon imagePROGRAF iPF750) with possible feature to plot as a drawn area.
Simply say I want to specified only one custom/roll paper size, make it custom size as a default. After that I want to plot exactly the accurate drawn area from my dwg. So with this settings I cannot specified custom paper size for each unique dwg.
I'm using this settings with Xerox WF (picture to see the settings) and working like a charm.
Is there anybody who has some experience with this problem?
Thank you for your possible feedback.
There is a setting on the plot dialog box near the bottom left called PLOT AREA
In there it says WHAT TO PLOT with a drop down box beside it
The settings are
DISPLAY
EXTENTS
LAYOUT
VIEW
WINDOW
Display will plot what you can see on the screen
EXTENTS will only plot the extents of the drawing (This is the one you need)
Layout will plot the layout you are on
I do not know what view does
Window lets you select an area of your drawing to plot.

Your picture is of the Xerox print dialog which you say does what you want.
The obvious answer is that your answer relies on information at the Plotter; not in the AutoCAD Plot Dialog.
Have you asked in a Canon Forum about how to save Custom settings for the Plotter?
Print and Plot Forum here may help as well: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Printing-and-Plotting/bd-p/30
