Background Masking Question

Running AutocadLT 2010
Is there a way to redefine the background masking defaults?

I have been digging thru help and can't seem to find anything...

You can Automate the selection of choices through CUI in a toolbar button or
Ribbon/menu selection.

Thanks y'all.
Actually I was hoping to be able to set the background to always be the
color of the drawing and the Border offset factor to always be 1.1 so that I
didn't have to select it every time I choose to use the background masking.
