AutoCAD LT Double Click issue

I am now using AutoCAD LT 2009. When i double click nothing happens. I went through and made sure all the double clicking was turned on. I have also tried setting it up in a new CUI file the way i was told in help. All the commands set up in the CUI interface for double click actions are not working, i am getting very frusterated i have tried eveything. Any one else have this problem?? or know what i can do?

What is DBLCLKEDIT set to (or Options>User Preferences tab>Windows
Behavior>Double-Click editing box checked)?

And while we are at it, what is PICKFIRST set to (or Options>Selection
Tab>Selection Mode>Noun/Verb selection box checked)?

i had the doble click editing on but the noun/verb unchecked.. seems to be working now. Thanks a lot!!!
