AutoCAD LT 2014 for mac ERROR launching

attempting to launch AutoCAD LT. Just uninstalled and reinstalled using Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2014 for Mac Installation.  Successful reinstall, able to locate application and select to open. Application initializes launch, where application window appears briefly with loading % then suddenly closes and AutoCAD LT Error Report appears. "A software problem has caused AutoCAD LT to close unexpectedly." Please advise. I am running this on an iMac OS X 10.8.5.
