AutoCAD LT 2011 upgrade from 2008 LT - serial number error

I have AutoCAD 2008 LT and bought the AutoCAD LT 2011 upgrade for 2008-10.

I'm getting th error message "the serial number you entered for your previous products is not valid. Try again. (18)"

I'm looking at my original 2008 Box withe the original serial number and entering it in. Anyone know the problem?

Thanks,

Chris

We're experiencing the very same issue here. Any solution?

The installtion program should have the option to email Customer Support concerning your Serial Number problem. You should receive information from an Autodesk Rep concerining your need. This will likely take about a week of back and forth to get things straight (well it did in my case).

If you do not get a return email try contacting authcodes@autodesk.com for direct help and let them know what is going on.

If you want to try the Forums:

Installation and Licensing Forum:
http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Installation-Licensing/bd-p/24

but I swear that is a zoo over there.

Please mark any response as "Accept as Solution" if it answers your question.

Thanks Charles, I do appreciate.

We've just contacted support. According to the online-form, it should take 2 days to get an answer. We'll see...

PS: I've visited the zoo, yeah. Smiley Wink
