importing jpeg files to freestyle

I would like to import scanned images of land contours into Freestyle in order to begin my landscape designs. Is there any format, other than DWG, that can be imported as a background or base to begin drawings in Freestyle?

hi Jean -

Using the Insert Picturefeature you can place a variety of image types on your drawing.  You can use that image as your background.

There is a bit of information about this feature here:

https://autocadfreestyle.autodesk.com/draw-and-edit

and we'll be posting a video on it shortly.

Let me know if you have more questions!
