Tip for creating openings for windows and doors.

1. Draw a rectangle across the wall where you want the opening to be. The length of the rectangle should be the same size as the wall opening you would like to create.

2. Active the erase tool and click the line segment (representing the wall) inside the rectangle to create the opening.

3. Delete the rectangle.
